Additional Commercial Services

Structural Decking, Drainage & Sustainable Solutions – Serving Hampshire & the South Coast.

The Complete Building Envelope

A commercial roof is more than just the waterproof layer. It requires structural integrity, efficient drainage, and modern thermal performance.

Structural Roof Decking

Supply and installation of large-scale structural decking, including 18mm OSB3 and Marine Plywood.

On refurbishment projects, the existing deck is often compromised. We strip back to the steel or timber purlins and install a new, certified structural deck to ensure safety and load-bearing capacity.

Sustainable Roofing

Green Roofs: Extensive Sedum mats or Intensive roof gardens. These help with planning permission and improve air quality.

Blue Roofs: Systems designed to hold and slowly release rainwater (attenuation), reducing the risk of flash flooding in urban areas.

We can help you achieve BREEAM credits for sustainability.

Thermal Upgrades & Cut-to-Falls

Installing high-performance PIR insulation.

Cut-to-Falls: We design tapered insulation schemes that create a slope on a flat roof, ensuring water drains away while simultaneously insulating the building. Upgrading insulation significantly reduces HVAC costs for warehouses and offices.

Industrial Daylighting & Access

Skylights: Replacing yellowed, brittle rooflights in warehouses to improve natural light and reduce lighting bills.

Access: Installing AOV (Automatic Opening Vents) for smoke safety and roof access hatches for maintenance teams.

Industrial Gutter Solutions

The Problem: Leaking valley gutters are the #1 cause of industrial water ingress.

The Solution: We install seamless Gutter Lining Systems (like Plygene) that create a "gutter within a gutter," guaranteeing leak-free performance.

Cut Edge Corrosion: We treat the rusting edges of metal roof sheets to stop corrosion spreading.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our services and process.

It is a system of insulation boards cut at an angle. When laid, they create a gradient on a flat roof, directing water to the outlets. It solves two problems at once: ponding water and heat loss.
Yes. Gutter lining is done entirely from the roof. We do not need to access the inside of the building, so your production lines can keep running.
Extensive Sedum roofs are low maintenance, requiring only 1-2 visits a year to check drainage and remove weeds. Intensive roof gardens require regular gardening.
We can arrange for the installation of mansafe systems, walkways, and edge protection to ensure future maintenance can be carried out safely.
It is when the cut edge of a metal roof sheet begins to rust and peel back. If left untreated, water creeps up the sheet by capillary action. We grind it back and apply a specialist sealant to stop it.
Yes. We carefully remove old asbestos-containing rooflights and replace them with modern, non-fragile polycarbonate sheets that let in far more light.
If we suspect the deck is damaged, we will include a provisional sum for replacement. However, we often cannot be 100% sure until the old roof is stripped.
